David Lee Watson 1951-2005)
David Lee Watson was from New Orleans,. He played with Wayne Cochran in the mid 70's replacing his idol Jaco Pastorius. After that he played and recorded with the Grammy winning record with Professor Longhair on "Crawfish Fiesta". He played with Luther Kent in the late 70's to mid 80's. He came out to Los Angeles to join Jack Mack in 1987 and left in 1994 after which he moved back to New Orleans and played & recorded with Tab Benoit in the late 90's.
